Our iconic supercars
Iconic with its timeless elegance, Miura is the forerunner of all Lamborghini V12 super sports cars. In 1971 Miura’s production was paired with Countach’s, the other milestone of the Lamborghini legend. Countach, the most iconic Lamborghini V12, was the first with the famous scissor doors. Vertically opening doors are an essential characteristic of Lamborghini’s DNA on its 12- cylinder models from the Diablo, its heir, running through the Murciélago, Reventón, Veneno, Centenario and finally to the Aventador range. With its aluminium and fibreglass body, the LM002 is widely considered the first Super SUV in history, an achievement reaffirmed by the Lamborghini Urus, the first super SUV to be mass produced. In addition to these models, how could we not mention the great masterpieces of Lamborghini’s design history? From the 350 GT, which began Ferruccio Lamborghini’s production of supercars in 1963, followed by the 400 GT in 1966, to the Jalpa, Silhouette, Urraco, Jarama, Espada, and Islero.
